MODERN SLAVERY POLICY
This Policy outlines Orwell’s commitment to identifying, assessing and addressing modern slavery risks across its operations and supply chains.
It establishes Orwell’s minimum requirements for managing modern slavery risks, including accountability and reporting obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth).
This Policy applies to all Orwell employees, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and other third parties, including parties engaged through alliances or joint ventures.
This Policy should be read in conjunction with GPL-QSE-PLCY-027 Whistleblower Policy.
Our key Quality principles are to ensure that we:
Continually improve the effectiveness of our management systems in line with our business and stakeholder needs.
Provide adequate required resources in order to develop; manage & implement our management systems in a most effective manner.
To comply with applicable standards including ISO 9001 to assist us to plan, lead and control project and service delivery.
Identify, assess and implement controls to manage our risk by mitigating adverse impacts and maximising opportunities associated with our business activities.
Comply with all Contractual, legislative and other requirements.
Utilise our resources, information and knowledge efficiently and effectively.

Implement this policy and review our management systems periodically to ensure they are both adequate and effective.
Establish, communicate, implement, and review the quality, safety & environmental objectives & targets relevant to our business needs on a regular basis (annually).
The policy will be reviewed at least every two years to ensure its effectiveness with the business needs. As a result of this review, changes may be made to this policy from time to time and all employees and contractors are required to comply with those changes.
